Where do we begin? At the beginning, of course
This week has been a roller coaster ride for conservatives, and my posts this week I think reflect the frustration we all have from this election. The mistakes made in it, and by Republicans for the past few years have us wondering what the Hell happened to the party we have supported for so long.
We're still busy compiling the steps we think need to be taken, but a website came to my attention during Captain Ed's daily online radio show from Hot Air and UStream. One chatter (yes he has a live, interactive chatroom while he does his show) named Lady Logician brought up the fact that an online coalition is currently being formed here at Rebuild the Party.
Before anyone thinks this is a joke, or this is being put together by amateurs that don't have the foggiest clue about politics, let me assure you that it's not. Patrick Ruffini is the former RNC eCampaign Director. Erick Erickson is the founder of Red State. Mindy Finn is a former strategy director for Romney's primary campaign. Charlie Smith is the Chairman of the College Republican National Committee. So these people aren't rubes that just fell off the turnip truck.
Go read what they have to say because it's right in line with what must be done to rebuild the Republican party, make it viable for 2012, and to make it competitive for 2010 and beyond. These people don't settle for losing, and they know that things must be done to right the ship that listing now.
I encourage readers that are interested in making a difference in the party, that realize there's a lot of work ahead for all of us, to sign up and join the coalition. At the very least, pay attention to it, and get active using their strategy in your own hometowns. We're only going to be able to do this together. None of us can tackle this task on our own. It's time to get active. It's time to get involved. And this is the best shot we have right now. So, by all means, please read what they have to say, and if it appeals to you, jump on board.

The GOP has to put serious thought into who will run against the left-wing illuminati, and make sure they can handle the liberally bias media.
