Fred! vs. a "Truther"

Via The New Editor, who has the video. It's worth watching. Fred is quick to deal with this moonbat. Furthermore, it caught the attention of CNN's "Political Ticker" though they omit the fact that this woman was one of the moonbat "Truthers":

A woman screaming “you’re not a real conservative, sir” was removed by police from a welcoming reception for likely GOP presidential candidate Fred Thompson Wednesday morning. A second protester was also taken from the room.

Houston police officers escorted the woman — as well as a man — from the hangar at Hobby Airport, where Thompson was shaking hands with a crowd of supporters. They were not arrested.
The woman questioned Thompson as he talked to reporters. She asked him why he was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and noted that the organization supported the North American Union with Canada and Mexico.

After the woman interrupted Thompson by questioning his conservative credentials, the likely candidate said, “Don’t fuss at me. You asked me a question. Let me answer it.” He told the woman, “I try to learn as much as I can from all viewpoints.”

Later, she shouted at Thompson as the news conference ended. Police officers took her outside a fenced area near the hangar, and stood with her until the former Tennessee senator departed.

This nutter was reported as screaming about WTC 7 as she was escorted out the door. Look, we deal with moonbats daily. While some may mock us for going into chatrooms on the 'Net for a little debate at night, it gives us a bit of practice with these people. Not just "Truthers," mind you, but all shades of moonbat liberals. It can be amusing at times, and most of the time it would try the patience of a saint.

We all have to deal with these people, and Fred will be among them. Mitt's had to deal with them. Even John McCain has had a couple. This election cycle will be like none we've seen before. All the stops are being pulled out. It has to be done because there is so much at stake for 2008. We can't risk losing the White House at this point int he war. We can't risk letting it go to a president who might just be able to get amnesty passed, and without all the security and enforcement provisions necessary to keep us safe.

Do we think Fred is the man for the job? That remains to be seen. He has to declare himself first, but if he does, this race will be a dead heat between three men, and anyone of them would be fine for us.
